COUNSELING
These programs involve not only workshops to improve
safety and security in the home, but also a proactive role for those
in the community stricken by grief, illness, immobility, or hunger.
Koinonia recognizes that, while catharsis is the beginning of the healing
process, it may be difficult to ask for help because of pride and self-esteem
issues. It is our goal to be as accessible as possible and to demonstrate,
with actions rather than words, the presence of God in all of our daily
affairs.

PLAN
These programs will be offered
under three broad subject headings: health, education, and counseling.
VISION
Koinonia Partners is a progressive
and dynamic Christian organization with a history of successful programs,
such as Habitat for Humanity, which have demonstrated to the community
of believers that faith is an active process of community involvement,
not just a canon of beliefs. The community center will continue this
tradition of excellence by providing worthwhile, timely, and up-to-date
services for those in need and educating the less-fortunate on a number
of programs to improve their collective health and quality of life.
MISSION
It is the mission of the Koinonia Community
Outreach Center to provide philanthropic service to the “global community
of humankind” using a grass roots approach which is spiritually centered,
volunteer oriented, and focused toward expounding the greater glory
of God through a number of charitable works.
“We are committed
to meeting the needs
of all people in the community”
