Millard and Linda's firing from Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity was born at Koinonia. Our support for that organization does not waver. Millard and Linda Fuller are dear friends of Koinonia. Since my move to Americus, they have become wonderful advisors and mentors to me. I now find it as impossible to imagine my life without them as I find it impossible to imagine Habitat without them.

I hope for reconciliation between Habitat and the Fullers whether they come together as one again or not. I urge us all to return the focus to the ministry — to those people who have the opportunity to move into a home of which they can be proud. I pray that escalating allegations aimed at the Fullers or at Habitat will stop before any further damage is done to the ministry. The people that have been served and those who are yet to be served deserve nothing less.

Again and again, we are given the opportunity to show the compassion and love of Christ. I pray we all seize this opportunity now.
